Chanel Indirect Procurement Assistant Manager

- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for assigned commodity categories to ensure value in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Conduct spend analysis, define categories, and assess opportunities to formulate specific category strategies.
- Lead RFX processes and price negotiations to optimize supplier relationships and brand protection.
- Establish partnerships with internal stakeholders to enhance business relationships with key suppliers.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and performance management initiatives.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and communication between global and regional commodity leads.
- Monitor and drive the implementation of sourcing strategies and procurement processes.
- Measure and track performance metrics for each commodity spend category.
- Support the development of local sustainable procurement expertise and collaborate with the APAC sustainability team.
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines.
- Fluency in both Chinese and English.
- Minimum of 7 years of procurement experience in a multinational company, focusing on category and supplier management.
- Experience in luxury retail, FMCG, or manufacturing industries preferred.
- Experience with global or regional transformational projects is advantageous.
- In-depth understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing, procurement, and contract management tools.
- Familiarity with e-Procurement tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the company and with suppliers.
- Process improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and optimization.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proactive and positive attitude.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement within a multinational company, with a focus on category management and supplier management.
