- Collaborate with the regional H&S team to design and execute strategic health, safety, and wellbeing plans, programs, and SOPs.
- Provide expert consultation and technical support for effective application of H&S priorities in Thailand.
- Lead and manage H&S initiatives, training programs, and compliance activities in accordance with regional standards and local regulations.
- Assess and address gaps in H&S compliance, ensuring alignment with local laws and regional standards.
- Mentor and support H&S Committee Members, Safety Officers, First Aiders, and Emergency Responders.
- Identify and assess potential H&S hazards in retail locations, distribution centers, events, and other facilities.
- Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies complying with local legislative requirements.
- Partner with stakeholders to manage emergency response protocols and ensure employee preparedness.
- Develop and implement Health & Wellbeing programs focusing on occupational health hazards and mental wellness.
- Contribute to the ISO 45001 certification process by developing procedures and conducting internal audits.
- Manage and oversee H&S programs, projects, and activities within budget and operational goals.
- Oversee the reporting and investigation of H&S incidents and track corrective actions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all H&S-related matters in Thailand.
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety management or related field.
- Certified or registered as a Safety Officer at the Professional Level with the Thailand Department of Labor Protection and Welfare.
- In-depth knowledge of Thailand H&S legislation, ISO 45001 standards, and H&S management systems.
- Proficient in planning, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Excellent communication and influencing capabilities.
- Fluency in both English and Thai.
At least 8 years of experience in H&S management, preferably within large organizations with multiple locations throughout Thailand. Experience in retail business is advantageous.
