Chanel Head of Program – ORION POS

- Oversee the comprehensive planning and governance of the ORION POS programme, including business case preparation, governance review, budget planning, and resource management.
- Lead the ORION programme team with strong leadership skills, fostering collaboration and supporting team development.
- Ensure alignment and communication with global, regional, and local IT counterparts to maintain transparency and alignment on project plans and timelines.
- Manage the overall ORION programme project plan, integrating various workstreams and managing inter-dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Execute the ORION programme's technical delivery, coordinating project activities such as design workshops, training, testing, and post go-live support.
- Collaborate with change leaders and business leaders on stakeholder management and communication plans.
- Coordinate with POS product owners and other technical leads to drive effective collaboration and foster a positive work environment.
- Support other retail tech initiatives that intersect with the ORION programme.
- Manage the transition from project execution to ongoing support and maintenance for the ORION POS solution.
- Oversee contractors and vendors to ensure project deliverables meet agreed timelines and quality standards.
- 15+ years of experience in retail system design, delivery, and support.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to support and develop teams.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and risk management.
- Experience in managing senior stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical language.
- Strategic, tactical, and operational thinking capabilities.
- Experience in managing end-to-end digital/IT project life cycles with multiple stakeholders.

15+ years of hands-on experience in retail system design, delivery, and support, with a preference for experience in luxury retail environments.
