Chanel Business & Promotion Financial Controller - Fashion Europe

- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly business performance for Fashion Europe.
- Develop and enhance reporting and analysis frameworks in line with business evolution.
- Challenge and propose improvements to key performance indicators.
- Produce ad hoc analyses for comprehensive business understanding.
- Actively participate in the preparation of strategic presentations for top management, ensuring clarity and creativity in key messaging.
- Ensure accurate financial information is reported within deadlines, particularly for Retail and Wholesale revenue closures.
- Collaborate in budget preparation and revisions with Media and Marketing teams.
- Control budget data entries from European markets in the financial reporting tool, challenging assumptions as necessary.
- Create reports using the financial reporting tool and track expenditure progress with operational and financial departments.
- Develop effective business partnerships and communication with Corporate teams, local financial teams, and operational teams to share best practices for budgeting and closure exercises.
- Participate in quarterly and semi-annual closures.
- Engage in Finance of the Future projects and serve as EBI Champion within the Fashion Europe Finance team.
- Lead the collection and prioritization of needs for activity monitoring and reporting, collaborating with the Fashion Europe Consolidation team on transformation projects.
- Provide recommendations and participate in discussions on report automation, data harmonization, and reliability requirements.
- Challenge and evolve existing processes and procedures.
- Participate in annual store inventories to ensure procedural compliance and support local teams in improving results.
- Act as a key financial interlocutor for one of the six Fashion Europe zones, supporting P&L management and strategic project simulations.
- Manage financial flows for Eyewear between the Fashion division and markets.
- Supervise and develop a Business Analysis intern.
- Collaborate with Sales & Margin Manager and HR department on recruitment processes.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Systematic thinking and synthesis abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerBI.
- Experience with business intelligence tools and database management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Adaptability and creativity in complex environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and curiosity.
- Interest in information systems and tools.
2 to 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
