Chanel Financial Controller - Margin & Inventory

- Reconcile and consolidate monthly retail stock for Fashion Europe boutiques.
- Calculate and reconcile obsolescence data for Fashion Europe stocks monthly.
- Ensure accurate billing for dismantling costs of recycled products in Europe.
- Analyze business coverage evolution and communicate findings to top management.
- Oversee quarterly accounting closure for Chanel SAS bulk stocks.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses related to business developments.
- Supervise an intern in managing exceptional boutique movements, negative and in-transit stocks, and monthly inventory tracking.
- Guarantee stock management procedures for European Fashion boutiques and act as a reference for stock-related matters.
- Maintain and adapt internal control procedures to align with organizational and strategic changes.
- Train country referents on procedures to enable them to train boutiques (Train the Trainer approach).
- Lead the community of country procedure referents and organize biannual meetings.
- Define pricing rates for each collection in collaboration with Country Directors and Financial Directors.
- Update pricing rules for each collection and monitor indices for deviations.
- Support margin management and track projected MOC.
- Coordinate the repatriation of obsolete products and manage sales quotas for staff in boutiques.
- Forecast returns of fashion products to (Re)Connect Europe.
- Coordinate annual inventories for boutiques and European stock.
- Plan inventories for Central Stock, Recyclability, and Rue Cambon.
- Centralize inventory reports and synthesize country results, deepening analysis with local teams if necessary.
- Act as the finance reference for My Inventories App and RFID developments, collaborating with Fashion Operations Europe and IT Retail.
- Support the implementation of the ORION project across the scope.
- Monitor ERP changes at central stock and post Go Live developments.
- Support obsolete and recycling return flows for wholesale partners.
- Create an RFID tag check report for boutiques.
- Ensure new processes align with internal control rules.
- Contribute to operational and financial process optimization projects.
- Serve as the Italian market reference and primary contact for the CFO Italy and team.
- Support and analyze during closure and budget phases.
- Co-construct OTB for Italian boutiques with Merchandising based on Fashion Manager inputs.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance.
- Recognized interpersonal skills and team collaboration ability.
- Proven project management skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Reliability, rigor, and initiative-taking capabilities.
- Versatility in addressing financial, internal control, operational, and IT topics.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, preferably within the luxury fashion industry.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
