Chanel Finance Manager - Fragrance and Beauty

- Act as the business partner for the Fragrance and Beauty France Executive Committee, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with the Fragrance and Beauty Director to drive performance in a dynamic environment.
- Manage a Financial Controller and work daily with multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate actively in strategy definition and activity management within the market.
- Support teams in financial simulations for strategic projects and initiatives, such as store openings and renovations.
- Supervise performance analyses, including sell-in/sell-out by distributor and axis, store revenue, market share, and budget/forecast variance analysis.
- Monitor distribution across all networks, identify risks and opportunities, and propose corrective actions.
- Contribute to inventory organization and execution in collaboration with Internal Control France.
- Participate in the construction of the Fragrance and Beauty MTP, integrating European and divisional expectations.
- Lead budgetary and reforecast processes, ensuring profitability aligned with market strategy.
- Develop detailed knowledge of margin and its drivers in collaboration with the Finance Europe team.
- Analyze and challenge budget allocations.
- Perform monthly and quarterly financial closings, ensuring data reliability and compliance with deadlines.
- Serve as the primary contact for auditors.
- Coordinate and ensure effective communication with Finance Europe Fragrance and Beauty teams and corporate functions.
- Propose ideas for financial presentations for top management.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor CSR projects and analyze their financial impacts.
- Advanced degree (Bac+4/+5) in finance, management control, or equivalent.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in a corporate or consulting environment with a strong financial background.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Curiosity and autonomy in a dynamic and demanding environment.
- Initiative and recognized managerial qualities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience in retail and/or fragrance and beauty sectors preferred.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in Excel and information systems.
- Knowledge of financial IT tools such as PowerBI, SAP, AX, Essbase, HFM, TM1.
8 to 10 years of experience in a corporate or consulting environment with a strong financial background.
Advanced degree (Bac+4/+5) in finance, management control, or equivalent.
