Chanel Director of Supplier Assessment - Fashion Division

- Lead the structuring and organization of the Supplier Assessment department across four key domains, ensuring alignment with Chanel's strategic ambitions and regulatory developments.
- Implement a cross-functional monitoring system for activity reporting to management, including vigilance and alert mechanisms with actionable plans.
- Drive the operational team and contribute to the evolution of the global Supplier Assessment model, focusing on risk identification and mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with future supplier-related obligations, integrating these into various activity domains (CSRD, CSDDD, ESG Due Diligence).
- Establish and lead cross-functional governance with Sustainability, ESG Performance, and Corporate teams responsible for the Core Model and Supplier Assessment guidelines.
- Prepare and participate in governance meetings with Division management, aligning topics with stakeholders in advance.
- Actively contribute to internal awareness development on ESG issues within the value chain to enhance business relevance.
- Advanced degree (Bac+5) in Engineering or Business.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in ESG/Supplier Assessment or Sustainability, with a successful track record in managing extensive partner networks on ESG pillars.
- Previous operational experience in Supply Chain or Operations/Production is advantageous.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different business contexts and simplify complex topics.
- Curiosity, creativity, and active listening skills.
- Capacity to coordinate cross-functional activities across multiple departments.
- Proficiency in facilitating workshops and meetings.
- Project management skills with the ability to guide and unite stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
A minimum of 15 years in ESG/Supplier Assessment or Sustainability, with proven experience in managing extensive partner networks.
Advanced degree (Bac+5) in Engineering or Business.
