1. Lead all phases of design coordination, construction project management, procurement, and financial reporting for new projects and renovations.
2. Manage the design process and execution for all new builds and renovations.
3. Adapt drawings and concept renderings for local use.
4. Design and coordinate stockrooms and operational spaces.
5. Hire and collaborate with local professionals for drawing packages.
6. Work with cross-functional teams to implement operational requirements.
7. Prepare planning, budgeting, and forecasting for projects.
8. Report monthly to the President on active projects.
9. Perform site visits and collaborate with the Repair and Maintenance Manager.
10. Ensure design approvals and manage project detailing and specifications.
11. Manage design of audio visual, security, IT, lighting, and loss prevention systems.
12. Negotiate with landlord's tenant coordination team.
13. Select and award contracts to general contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
14. Lead construction site walkthroughs.
15. Identify and resolve discrepancies between drawings and site conditions.
16. Issue status reports during construction.
17. Inspect quality of finishes, furniture, materials, and products.
18. Manage shop fitters and installation processes.
19. Ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
20. Manage procurement and administrative tasks related to design projects.
21. Support legal and leasing teams with lease documents.

1. Minimum of 10+ years of retail store design experience.
2. Degree in Interior Design or Architecture or equivalent experience.
3. Strong comprehension of architectural and engineering drawings.
4. Confidence and understanding of construction sites.
5. PMP designation or LEED accreditation is an asset.

1. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup.
2. Knowledge of Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, and Excel is an asset.
3. Experience with COUPA is an asset.

10+ years of experience in retail store design, preferably in luxury retail projects.

Degree in Interior Design or Architecture or equivalent experience.
