Chanel Data Science Intern

1. Support the Data Science team in exploratory data analysis, feature engineering and model development for retail, marketing and product initiatives.
2. Prototype and evaluate machine‑learning models (classification, regression, clustering) and translate results into actionable business insights.
3. Prepare reproducible data pipelines and documentation, including ETL tasks and data quality checks.
4. Collaborate cross‑functionally with merchandising, retail operations and marketing stakeholders to understand requirements and present findings.
5. Contribute to model validation, performance monitoring and clear reporting of assumptions, limitations and business impact.

1. Enrollment in or recent completion of a Master's or advanced Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related quantitative discipline.
2. Solid grounding in statistics, machine‑learning fundamentals and applied data analysis.
3. Proven programming ability in Python and SQL, with experience using data science libraries.
4. Excellent analytical rigour, attention to detail and ability to communicate technical findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
5. Proactive, collaborative mindset and capacity to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑disciplinary environment.
