- Serve as the DataHub modeling reference within the Data Governance team.
- Design, document, and evolve analytical models for data visualization and exploration.
- Define and enforce standardization frameworks, ensuring their adoption.
- Implement DataOps practices including automation, testing, and monitoring to ensure quality and performance.
- Utilize Azure and Databricks accelerators to enhance delivery speed and reduce technical debt.
- Develop and maintain analytical data models covering Retail, Supply, Finance, etc.
- Establish automated pipelines for model generation and deployment.
- Deploy automatic quality controls, unit tests, and monitoring systems.
- Measure and address technical debt related to models.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation accessible via the Data catalog.
- Collaborate with the Governance team to enrich metadata and facilitate dataset search.
- Coach BI developers and Data Factory project managers on modeling best practices.
- Implement automatic review tools to oversee Factory deliverables.
- Work with the Technology team to ensure data source availability and freshness.
- Stay updated on Azure Synapse, Databricks frameworks, and other modeling tools.
- Test new features and assess their relevance for the DataHub.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Master's in Data (Bac +5).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or analytical modeling on Azure or Databricks.
- Proven expertise in star schemas, fact/dimension tables, and SQL optimization techniques.
- Experience in data deployment automation (CI/CD, infrastructure scripts, automated tests).
- Familiarity with model generation tools or metadata-driven design.
- Ability to define standards and act as a Design Authority.
- Strong awareness of technical debt, refactoring, and performance.
- Proficiency in coaching and skill development for BI developers and project managers.
- Active technological scouting on Azure Synapse, Databricks, and DataOps practices.
- Fluency in French and a good command of English.
