- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Google Cloud Platform tools such as BigQuery.
- Document technical solutions, data flows, and schemas to ensure cross-functional transparency and knowledge sharing.
- Support the Customer Data Platform (CDP) with onboarding data quality, identity resolution, and segmentation enablement.
- Troubleshoot data issues end-to-end, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Collaborate with CRM architects and review documentation materials to maintain and expand data assets and processes.
- Partner with business analysts, dashboard developers, service owners, and providers to deliver accurate, scalable, and maintainable data solutions.
- Communicate effectively with IT managers, business analytics teams, and front-end developers throughout project life cycles.
- Serve as a model example in presenting data engineering concepts and use cases within Chanel's internal Data & Analytics space.
- Contribute to strategic direction and evolution of CRM services and practices.
- Proactively enhance existing solutions and prototype new ones.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in technical data engineering using SQL, Python, BigQuery, GCP, Azure, and Power BI.
- Experience in retail and omnichannel ecommerce environments, preferably within the luxury goods sector.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or Analytics/Data Science preferred.
- Expertise in data acquisition, manipulation, and structuring using SQL, Python, and BigQuery.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Firebase, and advanced SQL coding including aggregations, partitions, and window functions.
- Understanding of data design and dimensional data modeling concepts.
- Ability to build and maintain local Python virtual environments and experience with Google Cloud SDK.
- Exposure to Microsoft BI SQL Server Agent Job/Step scheduling architecture and Microsoft SSIS package development.
- Functional and technical experience in Advanced Analytics and Data Governance.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
A minimum of 2+ years of multidisciplinary professional experience with an emphasis on building and maintaining data pipelines in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or Analytics/Data Science is preferred.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $87,500-$130,000. Additional components may include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
