Chanel Creative Director of Boutique Architecture

- Develop creative proposals for seasonal and temporary boutique designs in alignment with Chanel's brand image.
- Create moodboards, photomontages, and realistic 3D renderings using tools such as Sketchup and Adobe Suite.
- Present creative proposals to project leaders and management for approval.
- Prepare comprehensive guidelines incorporating all architectural and scenographic elements for project understanding and validation.
- Collaborate with the development and production teams on material selection, furniture sourcing, and potential project challenges.
- Manage project managers and interns, ensuring alignment with Chanel's values and overseeing freelance contributors.
- Coordinate closely with internal production teams for material validation, prototype approval, and execution plans.
- Engage with external partners in coordination with orchestration teams.
- Oversee decor, lighting, and set design installations in collaboration with internal visual merchandising and digital production teams.
- Ensure project delivery and site supervision in coordination with internal teams and external service providers.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication with all Image Direction teams involved in the project.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in arts, design, or architecture from a recognized institution (e.g., ENSAD, École Boulle, ENSAAMA) or equivalent university.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in architecture, with significant exposure to the luxury sector, particularly in interior architecture or scenography.
- Previous experience in luxury boutique design is advantageous.
- Initial experience in team management.
- Creative and pragmatic mindset capable of translating creative concepts into reality.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities proactively and effectively.
- Excellent teamwork abilities, with a focus on empathy, humility, and adaptability.
- Proficiency in architectural and graphic design software (Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3D rendering).
- Fluency in both written and spoken French and English.
7 to 10 years of experience in architecture, with a focus on the luxury sector.
Bachelor's degree or higher in arts, design, or architecture.
