- Ensure the financial health of the organization through effective management of working capital and key financials, maintaining rigor around costs and compliance with IFRS.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and risk management systems across the company.
- Lead cross-functional projects to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies in finance and other processes.
- Manage the CAPEX validation process to support long-term ambitions, ensuring due diligence at local, regional, and global levels.
- Contribute actively to the Southeast Asia and Australia & New Zealand (SEAA) financial strategies within the SEAA Finance Leadership team.
- Provide forward-thinking analytics to derive business scenarios and guide stakeholders towards solutions aligned with performance drivers.
- Contribute to the development of strategic goals and objectives, acting as an independent challenger and sounding board for decisions.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director and Sustainability Senior Manager to support sustainability ambitions.
- Lead strategic business planning, competitive understanding, and financial goal setting at corporate and business levels.
- Drive transparency through monthly business performance meetings to ensure an objective viewpoint supported by metrics.
- Foster a diverse, multicultural environment that values and motivates team members, ensuring high levels of productivity and job satisfaction.
- Develop and grow the finance organization in Thailand to ensure a high-performing, engaged team.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial concepts and principles.
- Business partnership experience.
- University degree or equivalent in a related field, or a recognized finance professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.).
- 10+ years of experience in senior financial roles, preferably within large international corporate organizations.
- Experience in matrix management at regional and local senior management levels and within finance teams.
- Agile with commercial curiosity and business acumen.
- Strong leadership skills in leading oneself, changes, and others.
- Excellent data interpretation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on creative solutions.
- Ability to see both the big picture and the details.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to quickly understand cultural nuances and build trust within a diverse team.
10+ years of experience in senior financial roles, preferably within large international corporate organizations.
