Chanel Buying Specialist - Shoes

- Support the Senior Managers in implementing strategic vision and initiatives for the shoe category across seasonal collections and reorders.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of market buying sessions, including order forms, pricing sheets, and boutique communications.
- Analyze sales performance by size and execute sizing for collections in collaboration with Senior Managers.
- Support strategic warehouse allocations by style for the entire network.
- Partner with cross-functional teams in annual business planning, financial reporting, and budget forecasting for product categories.
- Monitor and identify business opportunities and challenges by boutique, creating business recaps with recommendations.
- Facilitate product transfers and client requests through outreach to boutiques and global partners.
- Support the seasonal markdown process through system execution, data analysis, and category coordination.
- Develop expert knowledge of Chanel’s price positioning within the competitive US market.
- Challenge the status quo to enhance efficiency and overcome roadblocks with creative solutions.
- Master all business systems including PowerBI, MMS, Orli, AX pricing system, Smartsheet, and AXBI.
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Strong passion for fashion and awareness of trends and competitive landscape
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in retail math
- Advanced Excel skills (vlookup, sumifs, sumproduct, pivot tables)
- Proficient in PowerPoint (animation, slide master formatting, embedding charts/graphs)
- Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
- Proactivity, agility, and resiliency in complex and ambiguous situations
- Service-minded with the ability to foster cross-functional relationships
Minimum of 2 years in a buying-related strategic or analytical role.
Bachelor's Degree required
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $61,400 to $95,000, with additional components including bonus potential, benefits, and perks.
