Chanel Buying Specialist - Costume Jewelry and Accessories

- Support Senior Managers in implementing strategic vision and initiatives for Costume Jewelry and Accessories.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of eight annual catalogs, including order forms, pricing sheets, and market buying sessions.
- Analyze sales performance and execute sizing for collections in collaboration with Senior Managers.
- Facilitate strategic warehouse allocations and support the allocation process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for annual business planning, financial reporting, and budget forecasting.
- Monitor and identify business opportunities and challenges by boutique, providing business recaps and recommendations.
- Facilitate product transfers and client requests through communication with boutiques and global partners.
- Support the seasonal markdown process through data analysis and category coordination.
- Develop expert knowledge of Chanel's price positioning within the competitive landscape of the US market.
- Challenge the status quo to improve efficiency and overcome roadblocks with creative solutions.
- Master business systems such as PowerBI, MMS, Orli, AX pricing system, Smartsheet, and AXBI.
- Conduct in-season and market prep reporting and analysis, including sales, sell-thru, inventory, and shipments.
- Present regular analysis and reviews of collection performance.
- Build collaborative partnerships with boutique store teams to support sales and product vision.
- Drive engagement in styling, storytelling, and craftsmanship in partnership with Education and Style Expertise teams.
- Act as a key resource for boutique teams to address client inquiries and support boutique visits for training and events.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 2+ years in a buying-related strategic or analytical role.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in retail math.
- Advanced Excel skills (vlookup, sumifs, sumproduct, pivot tables) and PowerPoint skills (animation, slide master formatting).
- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret complex data and formulate action plans.
- Proactive, agile, and resilient with a service-minded approach.
- Strong aesthetic understanding and demonstrated taste level.
A minimum of two years in a strategic or analytical buying role is required, with experience in luxury fashion preferred.
Bachelor's Degree required.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $61,400 to $95,000, with additional bonus potential and benefits.
