- Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with travel retail data providers to ensure data integrity and reliability.
- Review and validate data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness, extracting meaningful insights and trends.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and recommend data-driven changes to enhance Chanel's global presence.
- Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate relevant insights into reports for the Travel Retail Teams.
- Contribute to Chanel's monthly reports, providing clarity and context to analyzed data on the travel retail industry.
- Curate industry articles to create a monthly newsletter for different teams.
- Present data in a visually compelling and easy-to-understand format using Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools.
- Ensure timely updates of the Power BI platform with the latest data for real-time insights.
- Assist in the improvement and expansion of existing data models.
- Support the Junior Business Intelligence Manager and the Strategic Projects & Insights Director in daily operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Work closely with Chanel's Global Insight team to conduct surveys within airports worldwide.
- Address ad hoc analysis requests and questions from Chanel colleagues, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis or a similar role, preferably in the travel retail and/or luxury industry.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI; experience with Power Query is advantageous.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Keen eye for aesthetic and creative sensitivity, ensuring precision and visual harmony.
- Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
