- Oversee the governance, end-to-end process, and development of budget and forecasts.
- Manage cost variances and exposure to optimize margin and economic expenses.
- Challenge business partner viewpoints and assumptions with functional and commercial expertise.
- Design and perform ad-hoc analyses ensuring data integrity.
- Review and challenge KPI results, monitoring financial and operational performance.
- Analyze and explain variances between budgeted and actual financial results.
- Articulate financial consequences of management decisions with medium and long-term implications.
- Act as a subject matter expert to support data quality and improve business performance.
- Facilitate the assessment, development, and implementation of technological tools.
- Support and coach others in the use of technological tools.
- Proactively seek innovative solutions to optimize data analysis and modeling processes.
- Conduct consolidation activities to provide accurate and timely information to management.
- Monitor and enforce budget and forecast guidelines.
- Serve as the referent for global teams on forecast and actuals topics.
- Align reporting needs with system support in collaboration with the Finance Systems team.
- Provide cross-functional and cross-market ad hoc analysis to business partners.
- Consolidate, measure, and challenge SMG&A expenses in North Asia.
- University degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, or related disciplines preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial planning & analysis concepts and principles.
- Solid experience in the finance department of a multinational company.
- Experience with controlling, budget analysis, and finance systems.
- Rigorous and organized with a strong sense of service.
- Curious and analytical with a strong appetite for information systems.
- Good interpersonal skills and adept at navigating complex organizations.
- Excellent command of MS Excel.
- Hands-on experience with IBM Planning & Analytics tool (TM1), Hyperion tools (HFM, Planning & Analytics), or other consolidation and reporting tools.
- Fluent in English.
Solid experience acquired in the finance department of a multinational company, with hands-on experience in controlling, budget analysis, and finance systems.
University degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, or related disciplines preferred.
