Chanel Business Analyst and Product Merchandising Intern

- Assist the Product Merchandising Manager in overseeing all product lines across boutiques in Switzerland and Latin America.
- Ensure regular reporting of key performance indicators such as sales, stock levels, sell-through rates, and months of stock coverage, utilizing Power BI to create comprehensive reports for all boutiques.
- Contribute to the development of presentations for diverse audiences, including boutiques and executive management.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses based on business priorities and current activities.
- Monitor stock transfers, optimize inventory, and manage diversions.
- Participate in the preparation and monitoring of collection purchases, including auditing existing purchasing tools and recommending optimizations.
- Develop pre-purchase analyses, including offer structure and average pricing.
- Define reorder requests prior to each buying session.
- Track purchase results by boutique throughout the showroom duration.
- Contribute to the final purchase results presentation.
- Assist in pricing collections in local currencies.
- Conduct competitive analysis, including fashion week insights, price mapping, and capsule collections.
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree from a Business or Engineering School.
- First experience in Marketing, Merchandising, Purchasing, and/or Finance.
- Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills and numerical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of rigor.
- Adaptability and keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Power BI is advantageous.
A preliminary experience in Marketing, Merchandising, Purchasing, or Finance is required.
Master's degree in progress from a Business or Engineering School.
