- Lead and develop a team of approximately 15 legal professionals, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the strategic vision of the Global Legal Department.
- Provide strategic legal guidance on complex corporate matters, including governance, business ethics, data privacy, IT, and real estate for various divisions in France and in cooperation with international counterparts.
- Oversee legal support for IT and Digital teams, ensuring compliance and providing advice on contract negotiation and project lifecycle management.
- Champion business ethics and privacy programs, managing compliance cases and data breaches in coordination with global teams.
- Advise on corporate restructuring and governance changes, collaborating with global corporate teams.
- Manage legal support for real estate projects across France and Europe, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle litigations and regulatory investigations, working with global litigation teams and external counsel as necessary.
- Provide shared legal expertise to other entities within the group, ensuring consistency in legal approaches and priorities.
- Contribute to defining the legal strategy for divisions and promote improvements in legal operations and processes.
- Advanced law degree.
- Bar exam qualification with over 15 years of legal experience, preferably in both a law firm and a multinational company.
- Strong background in commercial and contract law.
- Experience in compliance program implementation.
- Expertise in data privacy and IT law.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to implement and enhance legal tools.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
- Leadership and team management experience.
A minimum of 15 years of legal experience, preferably within both a law firm and a multinational corporation, with a strong focus on commercial law, compliance, and data privacy.
Advanced law degree.
