- Execute restorations and repairs on leather goods and jewelry to Chanel quality standards, including stitching, edge finishing, hardware replacement and metalwork.
- Perform precision tasks such as polishing, soldering, stone setting adjustments and small mechanical interventions on accessories.
- Inspect incoming repair items, produce accurate job documentation and cost assessments, and update repair status in the service workflow.
- Collaborate with the after‑sales (SAV) team and logistics to coordinate parts, returns and shipment of repaired goods across European markets.
- Maintain workshop tools and materials, ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality procedures.
- Participate in formal training and on‑the‑job coaching to assimilate Chanel repair techniques and finishing standards.
- Enrolment in or acceptance to an alternance/apprenticeship program in maroquinerie, bijouterie, jewelry making, leatherwork or a related craft discipline.
- Strong manual dexterity, excellent visual acuity and meticulous attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of leather types, seams and hardware; familiarity with precious metals and basic jewelry techniques is a strong advantage.
- Professional attitude, punctuality and the ability to work within a small specialist workshop and cross‑functional SAV teams.
- Willingness to learn proprietary repair methods and adhere to strict brand quality standards.
- Leather repair (patching, seam repair, edge finishing)
- Hand stitching (precision saddle stitch and finishing)
- Hardware replacement and assembly for bags and small leather goods
- Jewelry repair techniques (polishing, basic soldering, bezel/stone handling)
- Precision use of hand tools and small‑scale workshop equipment
- Quality control and repair documentation
No prior professional experience is required for the apprenticeship; previous internships or workshop exposure in leather goods or jewelry repair are advantageous but not mandatory. The candidate must be enrolled in an alternance/apprenticeship program starting September 2026.
Vocational training in progress or planned (CAP/BEP/BTS or equivalent) in maroquinerie, bijouterie, jewelry making, leatherwork or a related craft discipline.
