1. Uphold production standards to deliver the ultimate Chanel experience to clients.
2. Properly fit and alter a wide range of garments, ensuring high-quality results.
3. Organize and maintain client-owned pieces in line with Chanel's expectations.
4. Interact with clients to provide styling and fitting advice.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Chanel-specific alteration techniques, including fabrication and styling of luxury garments.
6. Ensure sewing machines and other equipment are in proper working order.
7. Build positive team relationships throughout the boutique to inspire trust and teamwork.
8. Alter or repair clients' garments, including hemming, mending, lengthening, and adjusting seams.
9. Fit garments on clients to determine necessary alterations.
10. Construct garments and articles according to clients’ specifications and preferences.
11. Label clients' garments and record required alterations.
12. Communicate with clients to determine their specifications, needs, and preferences.
13. Use irons and pressing machines to remove creases from garments.

1. Previous alterations experience in a luxury retail environment, with a minimum of 5 years preferred.
2. Sound knowledge of various fabrics and sewing techniques.
3. Ability to work under time constraints.
4. Detail-oriented mindset.
5. Minimum High School Diploma.
6. Ability to lift 15 lbs.
7. Flexible schedule with availability for late nights, weekends, and some holidays.

1. Strong technical background in specialty skills such as leather, knits, double-face, beading, fine tailoring, and buttonholes.
2. Excellent communication skills.
3. Exceptional client service skills.
4. Ability to thrive in a team environment and work collaboratively.
5. Understanding of, and passion for, client experience.
6. Foreign language skills are preferred but not required.

A minimum of 5 years of related experience in alterations within a luxury retail environment is preferred.

Minimum High School Diploma

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $27.30 through $40.00. Additional variable pay components may include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
