1. Manage the Women's Small Leather Goods (SLG) team to ensure timely delivery of collections.
2. Establish the collection's timeline and define key merchandising milestones.
3. Organize the workload of the team and communicate with product managers and the workshop in Italy.
4. Provide regular updates to the Women's Leather Goods Collection Manager.
5. Develop SLG briefs and collection framework based on qualitative and quantitative data.
6. Plan the appropriate size and structure for each collection, defining target prices and margins.
7. Balance carryover products with seasonal novelties and monitor competitor activities.
8. Collaborate closely with studio and development teams in Italy, controlling collection size and needs.
9. Oversee material orders, prototype launches, and sample production within budget constraints.
10. Identify risks during prototyping and sampling phases and lead technical meetings until production.
11. Maintain updated tools for collection tracking, including summaries, collection plans, and price lists.
12. Control costs throughout development, setting target prices and working to achieve desired margins.
13. Work with the legal team to finalize new product names and address intellectual property issues.
14. Organize the preparation for buying sessions, collaborating with VM teams for showroom setup.
15. Develop sales presentations and present collections to central Retail and Wholesale teams.
16. Ensure all necessary documents are ready for the showroom and control product information in PLM.
17. Communicate updates and provide necessary data and support to Retail and Wholesale teams during buying sessions.
18. Monitor SLG performance from qualitative and quantitative perspectives, conducting sell-in and sell-out analyses.
19. Gather regular feedback from central and regional Retail and Wholesale teams and conduct store visits.
20. Contribute to 360 activities by providing product content to marketing and press teams.
21. Ensure product descriptions on the website are accurate before collection launches.
22. Collaborate with the training team to ensure comprehensive and relevant product training.

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Merchandising/Product Development (Leather Goods).

2. Ability to prioritize and adapt quickly to changes.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Advanced analytical and presentation capabilities.
5. Proficiency in MS Office applications, with advanced Excel skills.
6. Fluency in professional English is mandatory; proficiency in Italian is a plus.

A minimum of 5 years in merchandising or product development within the leather goods sector is required.

Business school or university degree.
