Celine Store Planning Buyer

- Manage the procurement process, including supporting tendering and RFP processes, conducting financial and spend analysis, negotiating with suppliers, implementing legal agreements, and monitoring supplier performance.
- Develop strategic sourcing initiatives and optimize costs by building a database of historical cost drivers, identifying opportunities for cost optimization, assisting in defining a Preferred Supplier List, and ensuring compliance with risk management and sustainable procurement practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally by supporting the Design team in cost-effective initiatives, sourcing and negotiating for boutique construction and renovation projects, reporting on project financial performance, and understanding the needs of the Store Planning team.
- Master's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field, or a degree specializing in purchasing/procurement.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction procurement processes and cost drivers in retail environments.
- Sensitivity to design and value engineering, with the ability to collaborate with design teams for cost-effective solutions.
- Proficient negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for construction projects.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage financial data and track project progress.
- Collaborative and proactive approach to building strong relationships and driving project success.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
2-3 years of experience in procurement specific to architecture or construction, preferably within a retail context, or experience as a Store Planner with a focus on financial performance and cost optimization.
Master's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field, or a degree specializing in purchasing/procurement.
