Celine Merchandising Manager, Ready-to-Wear

1. Develop and execute seasonal merchandise plans and assortment strategies for the Women's and Men's Ready-to-Wear categories across North America.
2. Prepare and analyze sales reports, market trends, and consumer preferences to inform product selection and inventory management.
3. Collaborate with the Supply Chain and Central Merchandising teams in Paris to negotiate Open to Buy and manage the order process.
4. Participate in buying sessions in Paris, ensuring alignment with central teams and optimizing product assortments.
5. Monitor sales performance, liaise with boutiques, and propose action plans to enhance business outcomes.
6. Coordinate with visual merchandising to ensure optimal product presentation in line with sales trends and guidelines.
7. Engage with cross-functional teams to support in-store and online sales initiatives, including client development and event management.
8. Lead projects that align with company-wide priorities, ensuring successful implementation and management.
9. Manage and mentor the Merchandising VIE, fostering their integration into the team.
10. Generate and interpret sales data to evaluate merchandising strategies and enhance customer engagement.

1. Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum 4 years of retail buying experience in the North American market.
3. 6-9 years of luxury buying experience, with a focus on Ready-to-Wear.
4. 3 years of management experience in merchandising.
5. Experience in the luxury fashion industry.

1. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
2. Superior organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
3. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and synthesis skills.
4. Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and v-look-up.
5. Strong product sensibility and knowledge of competitive trends.
6. Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is advantageous.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury retail buying, with a focus on Ready-to-Wear and management responsibilities.

Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising or equivalent experience.

The compensation ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 annually, with additional bonus opportunities.
