- Implement the company's purchasing policy in alignment with the overall strategy and objectives of the packaging development group.
- Develop and procure packaging projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and alerting management to any issues.
- Prepare supplier briefs and manage ongoing negotiation and tender processes.
- Oversee prototype development and coordinate packaging design in collaboration with the product team and Quality Management.
- Draft or validate contracts and framework agreements with the assistance of the legal department.
- Optimize sourcing by continuously auditing the supplier panel, focusing on CSR, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor purchasing budgets and provide comprehensive reporting to the purchasing department.
- Track performance indicators, both quantitative and qualitative.
- Conduct economic and technological watch to stay informed of market trends and present key market indices affecting purchasing conditions to management.
- Advanced degree such as a Master's (DESMA, MAI, GAI) or a specialized degree from a packaging school like Reims, with 7 years of experience in packaging procurement.
- Strong understanding of the luxury sector and ability to adapt approach to various stakeholders.
- Agility and product sensitivity with a strong affinity for numbers and analytical skills.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a service-oriented mindset.
- Strong team spirit, positivity, and responsiveness.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in packaging procurement within the luxury sector.
Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
