- Oversee the supply and quality control of colored stones and pearls for Haute Joaillerie collections.
- Ensure adherence to Cartier's specifications for colored stones in collection projects.
- Collaborate with designers on material selection.
- Manage timelines and pricing for stones, coordinating with suppliers, lapidaries, and laboratories.
- Alert project teams to material risks, including color, dimension, shape, and treatment.
- Communicate specifications and certifications to internal teams, including workshops, marketing, and sales.
- Monitor deliveries and liaise with suppliers to meet deadlines for stone availability.
- Manage stone certifications with external laboratories.
- Conduct quality control at key stages of stone processing.
- Provide internal laboratory teams with material insights and implement their control recommendations.
- Prepare stone presentations for purchasing decisions.
- Promote stock reuse through sorting and highlighting projects.
- Contribute to inventory management.
- Degree in Gemology.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in colored stones, preferably with a luxury brand or merchant.
- Strong interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
- Adaptability in a dynamic setting.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- Proficiency in English and computer skills.
- Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing, stone cutting, and setting is highly desirable.
- Understanding of the raw stone market and production countries is advantageous.
Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in the colored stones sector, ideally within a luxury brand or merchant environment.
Degree in Gemology.
