Cartier Sales Director

- Achieve and exceed sales plans while spearheading business development initiatives.
- Drive the sales team to consistently meet or surpass sales targets.
- Maximize business opportunities by enhancing synergies and efficiency across all boutique floors.
- Define and implement the business development strategy for High Jewelry in collaboration with the High Jewelry Sales Manager.
- Collaborate with corporate departments such as visual merchandising, merchandising, and marketing to leverage business analysis and opportunities.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the boutique business and assess local market opportunities to implement an effective sales strategy.
- Partner with the Regional and Boutique Client Engagement Directors to implement clienteling strategies for new client acquisition and loyal client retention.
- Actively promote networking activities, including client events.
- Motivate and support the sales staff, including managers and sales associates.
- Communicate strategic brand focuses to the management team.
- Conduct regular team meetings to ensure staff awareness of targets and client experience best practices.
- Ensure administrative and HR tasks, such as scheduling and payroll management, are handled by managers.
- Actively recruit and maintain a talent pipeline.
- Collaborate with the Boutique Director and other managers to develop and implement coaching and training strategies for the sales team.
- Lead the performance management process through regular individual meetings with managers, including biannual performance reviews.
- Assess potential and propose development opportunities in partnership with boutique management, HR, and Career Committees.
- Create a positive and united work environment among all staff.
- Partner with Boutique Managers to ensure exceptional client experiences and long-term client relationships.
- Model luxury experience behavior and maintain a regular presence on the floor.
- Support boutique management with controllable operating expenses through monitoring, analysis, and action plan recommendations.
- Partner with Operations and Service Salon Managers to ensure operational fluidity.
- Participate in daily boutique setup and breakdown as needed.
- Possess deep understanding and knowledge of the brand and full range of products and services to convey Cartier heritage and values.
- Promote the implementation of new technology-based service tools.
- Understand and comply with Cartier security and operational procedures.
- Uphold Cartier's image by maintaining a professional demeanor and serving as a brand ambassador.
- MBA preferred
- Additional language skills (Spanish, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian) are a plus
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills

A minimum of 10 years of management experience, particularly in luxury retail.
MBA preferred
Expected salary range: $150,000 to $160,000, negotiable based on relevant skills and experience.
