Cartier Quality Technician

- Ensure the conformity of finished products and components to established standards.
- Verify the overall capability of production and control processes.
- Maintain product standards in line with customer expectations regarding aesthetics, ergonomics, integrity, and regulations.
- Update quality standards based on validated improvements, including control ranges and defect catalogs.
- Provide daily support to the team in operational quality matters.
- Offer technical support and identify training needs for teams.
- Train production staff in quality methods such as self-control and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Compile and analyze non-quality data, including waste, exchanges, and customer complaints, and ensure reporting.
- Lead problem-solving and improvement initiatives in collaboration with the team.
- Coordinate quality assurance processes, including sampling rules and frequency of checks.
- Ensure the validity of control methods and propose enhancements.
- Promote the company's quality image and policy.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects within the Autonomous Production Unit (UAP).
- Propose solutions to eliminate waste with the team.
- Support and participate in the validation of subcontracted products.
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors throughout the product lifecycle.
- Advanced degree in engineering or an equivalent technical field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in quality within the industry, ideally in a watchmaking or jewelry environment.
- Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical and synthesis capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously while being a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Windows-based software, particularly Word and Excel.
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the industry, preferably in watchmaking or jewelry.
Advanced degree in engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
