Cartier Quality Controller

- Conduct aesthetic and functional inspections of finished watches to ensure quality before shipment.
- Utilize appropriate tools to perform functional checks according to established control ranges and available plans.
- Make decisions regarding acceptance, rejection, downgrading, or destruction of products in line with company policy.
- Diagnose necessary interventions for non-conforming items and arrange for their correction or repair.
- Perform final checks on previously inspected items through sampling or individual assessment using computer systems.
- Support production teams by communicating and enforcing product requirements.
- Act as a liaison with workshops, providing expertise in identifying non-conformities.
- Control products during manufacturing as needed.
- Ensure versatility by occasionally working on the movement control line or watch assembly.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by proposing enhancements in quality control processes.
- Adhere to hygiene, safety, and security regulations within the workplace.
- Technical or watchmaking training.
- Proven experience in watch control (watches and movements).
- Proficiency in reading technical plans.
- Strong judgment and adaptability.
- Keen observation and attention to detail.
- High responsiveness and stress resilience.
- Proficiency in standard computer tools (SAP is a plus).
- Excellent written communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of watch products, control ranges, and tools.
A minimum of one year of successful experience in watch control is required.
Technical or watchmaking training is required.
