Cartier Quality Controller - Gemstones

- Conduct quality control of colored gemstones according to established specifications, and manage returns for quality rejections.
- Update or recreate material specifications (color charts, masters) and control tools as necessary.
- Assist suppliers in adhering to specifications and utilizing provided control tools.
- Assemble gemstone kits for production.
- Ensure pairing and harmonization of materials.
- Monitor and manage ancillary flows (after-sales service, special orders, intercompany flows, etc.).
- Support junior quality controllers in their control activities and skill development.
- Assist gemstone experts with new product topics.
- Contribute to stock management (both physical and digital) and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Training in Gemology with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
- Recognized for professional integrity, meticulousness, and precision.
- Affinity for IT tools.
- Appreciation for jewelry craftsmanship (manufacturing, stone cutting, setting).
- Knowledge of the gemstone market, including countries of raw extraction and cutting production.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in gemology is required.
Training in Gemology.
