Cartier Production Unit Manager

- Manage and develop a team of 70 specialized professionals in various crafts such as setting, jewelry making, polishing, and electroplating.
- Ensure the achievement of production objectives related to safety, quality, cost, and deadlines.
- Oversee the production site’s growth by steering activities and implementing necessary projects to meet workshop goals.
- Participate in pre-series production and the launch of new products, ensuring resource availability and involvement in the dedicated Manufacturing Project Team.
- Maintain traceability of raw materials throughout the production process.
- Lead or participate in projects within the Production Unit or across the Swiss Jewelry Division and Cartier Industry.
- Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives within the department, ensuring effective communication across the organization.
- Advanced degree in engineering or equivalent technical education.
- Several years of varied and successful experience in the watchmaking and/or jewelry industry.
- Strong team management and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication, pedagogical abilities, and active listening skills.
- Proven leadership and adaptability, with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP) and performance management tools.
- Interest in new technologies and industrial methods.
Several years of varied and successful experience in the watchmaking and/or jewelry industry, with a solid background in team management.
Advanced degree in engineering or equivalent technical education.
