- Oversee the polishing zone within the jewelry workshop, coordinating with other zones and teams.
- Allocate tasks based on team members' skills and development needs.
- Ensure adherence to polishing guidelines and maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with logistics to manage outsourcing strategies based on workload and capacity.
- Monitor quality of outsourced work and address any issues with management.
- Manage inventory and participate in stock audits.
- Propose process improvements and time optimization strategies.
- Ensure compliance with workshop rules and safety protocols.
- Facilitate technical skill development for polishers and apprentices.
- Develop and manage the training plan for the team.
- Conduct regular individual performance and development reviews.
- Contribute to the multi-disciplinary strategy for new product development.
- Perform polishing tasks for various projects, including new launches and special orders.
- Technical education in jewelry making.
- Significant experience in polishing, minimum OJ3 level 3 or OJ4.
- Strong managerial and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and proactive approach.
- Ability to mentor and develop team members.
A substantial background in polishing within the jewelry industry, with proven managerial capabilities.
Technical education in jewelry making.
