Cartier Manufacture Jewelry Designer

- Develop detailed design specifications incorporating ergonomic, integrity, and repairability criteria as expressed by the Creation, expert jeweler, and customer service teams.
- Translate creative needs from gouache into 3D CAD volumes according to Cartier's standards.
- Ensure feasibility during product design in collaboration with method technicians.
- Present resin prototypes for concept validation by the Creation team.
- Ensure compliance of physical prototypes (gold/platinum) before final validation by the Creation team.
- Present physical prototypes to the Creation team and justify technical choices when necessary.
- Create comprehensive technical dossiers, including 3D volumes, plans, and dimension chains, ensuring alignment with design specifications and product nomenclatures in collaboration with methods and quality teams.
- Provide necessary data for product reference creation in the PLM system.
- Contribute to the reliability and continuous improvement of products.
- Engineering degree in microtechnology, mechanics, ergonomic design, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of confirmed experience in a similar role, preferably within an industrial environment.
- Proficiency in CAD, ideally with CREO.
- Strong understanding of functional analysis and dimension chains.
- Solid knowledge of technical assemblies, incorporating industrial feasibility constraints through machining.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- Strong communication skills for effective project presentation and defense.
- Flexibility, rigor, and ability to build productive relationships with various stakeholders.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally within an industrial setting.
Engineering degree in microtechnology, mechanics, ergonomic design, or equivalent.
