Cartier Joaillière (Bench Jeweller)

- Execute hand fabrication, soldering and assembly of high‑end jewellery according to technical drawings and prototypes.
- Set and secure gemstones using a range of setting techniques (pavé, claw, bezel, channel) to haute-joaillerie quality standards.
- Perform finishing, polishing and final adjustments to ensure impeccable surface treatment and fit.
- Undertake repairs, resizing and after‑sales work while maintaining traceability and workshop documentation.
- Collaborate closely with designers, model makers and gemmologists to translate sketches into finished pieces.
- Carry out quality control inspections at each production stage and report non-conformities.
- Maintain tools, workstations and uphold strict confidentiality and security protocols for luxury items.
- Professional qualification in jewellery-making or goldsmithing (CAP/BEP, vocational diploma or equivalent).
- Demonstrable mastery of traditional bench techniques: soldering, sawing, filing, setting and finishing.
- Strong visual acuity, manual dexterity and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow precise jewellery tolerances.
- Commitment to confidentiality, quality standards and a collaborative atelier environment.

Typically 3+ years of bench experience within a luxury jewellery house, atelier or comparable high‑precision environment; proven track record on haute‑joaillerie pieces and repair work.
Vocational diploma in jewellery-making/goldsmithing (CAP/BEP or equivalent); additional gemmology certification desirable.
