Cartier Head of CAD for High Jewelry

- Lead and manage a team of 5 digital designers dedicated to the creation of unique high jewelry pieces.
- Participate in recruitment and project allocation, ensuring prioritization of tasks.
- Guide the team in project advancement, cost estimation, and decision-making processes.
- Facilitate collaboration between workshop leaders and designers, ensuring workshop constraints are integrated into designs.
- Develop training plans to support team growth and career development.
- Ensure succession planning and continuity of operations.
- Design and strategize product development, including 3D modeling and prototype documentation.
- Ensure product feasibility in collaboration with technical services.
- Manage project timelines and alert on any deviations.
- Oversee subcontracting processes, including supplier qualification and deliverable validation.
- Engage in cross-functional projects related to digital processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven experience in CAD within the jewelry industry, preferably using Creo or Rhino & RhinoGold and Grasshopper.
- Strong knowledge of jewelry-making techniques.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Proactive, reactive, and curious with a keen aesthetic sense.
- Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset.
- CAD proficiency in jewelry design software such as Creo or Rhino & RhinoGold.
- Strong understanding of jewelry-making techniques.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to translate creative intentions into 3D designs.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills.
Confirmed experience in CAD within the jewelry sector, with a preference for expertise in Creo or Rhino & RhinoGold and Grasshopper.
