- Oversee multi-sourcing processes for high jewelry across approximately 20 external workshops in France.
- Manage quality control processes including casting, blank pieces, and pre-rhodium plating inspections.
- Provide technical documentation and manufacturing tools to external workshops.
- Monitor technical performance and support workshops with technical inquiries.
- Identify and analyze workshop feedback to develop re-engineering strategies.
- Participate in product and process design for new high jewelry pieces.
- Contribute to product development strategy and attend development meetings.
- Maintain technical files in PLM, including manufacturing and control dossiers.
- Manage manufacturing tooling, including 3D verification and templates.
- Create customer service sheets, handling guides, and technical product photos.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices.
- Jewelry-making education or quality control experience (5-7 years).
- Strong interest in product and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with traditional jewelry manufacturing techniques.
- Ability to represent Cartier in partner workshops.
- Comfortable working with jewelers and workshop managers.
- Strong quality judgment skills.
- Effective communication and representational skills.
5-7 years of experience in jewelry-making or quality control, with a strong interest in manufacturing processes and traditional techniques.
Jewelry-making education or equivalent experience in quality control.
