- Negotiate purchasing conditions of products and define the gold supply strategy, including conducting tenders and securing optimal offers in line with technical specifications and defined needs.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships, including frequent travel to partner sites to understand challenges and enhance commercial relationships.
- Monitor financial performance of the portfolio by controlling production costs and analyzing pricing, ensuring alignment with the Finance department and contributing to budget development.
- Track partner performance roadmaps and define cost reduction strategies.
- Ensure alignment of purchasing conditions across partners through benchmarking, portfolio analysis, and strategic sourcing recommendations.
- Support the development and improvement of the supplier network, collaborating with other departments to identify new suppliers and assess new product needs.
- Adhere to Cartier's policies by promoting environmental, social, economic, and ethical considerations within the ecosystem.
- Degree in Purchasing or a related field with proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of logistics flows and/or a keen interest in jewelry products.
- Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in negotiation and strong interpersonal skills.
- High level of autonomy and ability to propose solutions in analyses.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and digital tools.
- Fluent in English.
Proven experience in a similar purchasing role, preferably within an industrial setting.
Degree in Purchasing or a related field.
