Burberry Supply Chain Coordinator

- Raise and process purchase orders for fabric finishing and ancillary materials; raise warehouse pick requests to meet weekly despatch schedules.
- Support senior planners with sales order administration and alignment of material supply to weaving, dyeing and finishing schedules.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, preparing and verifying shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin) and ensuring correct commodity codes and customs declarations.
- Liaise with domestic and international suppliers and freight forwarders to track shipments, resolve quantity discrepancies and manage delivery risk.
- Goods receipt coordination with warehouse teams for raw materials and finished goods; maintain traceability and accurate inventory records.
- Support compliance activities related to Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) and Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) requirements, assist with internal audits and maintain audit trails.
- Maintain accurate data within ERP/MRP systems and produce regular planning and logistics reports; escalate supply or compliance risks to stakeholders.
- Demonstrable understanding of textile manufacturing processes and production flow.
- Knowledge of international trade procedures, customs documentation and Incoterms.
- Familiarity with supply chain compliance standards such as AEO and GOTS (desirable).
- Strong planning, organisational skills and high attention to detail to manage multiple priorities in a production environment.
- Proven proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel/data analysis capabilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional coordination with suppliers, planners and logistics partners.

Practical experience in supply chain or logistics within a textile or apparel manufacturing environment, including procurement support, production planning coordination, inventory control and international shipping/customs processes.
A degree or HND in supply chain management, logistics, business or a related discipline is preferred; alternatively, equivalent vocational qualifications or demonstrable relevant industry experience.
