Burberry Senior Counsel, Brand Protection

- Lead brand protection initiatives across the Asia Pacific region, excluding China, with a strategic focus on identifying and mitigating intellectual property risks.
- Oversee customs and criminal enforcement activities, collaborating with law enforcement and external counsel to address infringement issues.
- Manage civil enforcement matters, including cease and desist actions, settlement negotiations, and litigation strategies.
- Engage in online enforcement, working with service providers and online platforms to address counterfeit issues.
- Provide legal advice to support anti-counterfeiting and brand protection efforts, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Adapt enforcement strategies to respond to changes in the counterfeit marketplace and business needs.
- Lead and develop a team to ensure high performance in enforcement activities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to support business strategies and manage risks.
- Develop and deliver training programs related to brand protection.
- Work with the global brand protection team to enhance enforcement efforts and address global IP issues.
- Partner with industry and enforcement groups to strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Qualified lawyer with experience in intellectual property and anti-counterfeiting.
- Experience in litigation, evidence management, and negotiation.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
Experience with a reputable law firm and corporate in-house work, focusing on intellectual property and anti-counterfeiting.
Law degree from a recognized institution.
