- Lead and inspire a team of 5-6 skilled Pattern Technicians, ensuring timely and accurate task completion.
- Serve as the primary liaison for new style launches, facilitating communication between Product Development, Design, Product Engineering, and the Castleford Technical Development team.
- Craft, grade, and refine patterns from sketches, basic blocks, or reference samples, ensuring alignment with design and engineering specifications.
- Develop and adapt foundational blocks to accommodate new styles and shapes as requested by design or Product Development teams.
- Create and grade patterns digitally using Lectra, maintaining styling details and proportions; familiarity with CLO3D is advantageous.
- Produce comprehensive size charts for all developed styles and prepare patterns for manufacturing, incorporating essential details such as seam allowances, notches, and grain lines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold production quality standards while ensuring cost-effective processes.
- Participate in fit sessions and sampling approvals, updating Technical Packs with precise details, including size charts, trim sheets, and fusing information.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Pattern Cutter, Engineer, or Technician, with proven expertise in team leadership.
- Formal education in Pattern Cutting or Fashion, with substantial industry experience in digital pattern creation.
- Advanced digital pattern-cutting skills, particularly with Lectra Modaris.
- Deep understanding of fit, body movement, and body proportion.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and the Office Suite.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in pattern cutting, engineering, or as a technician, with leadership experience.
Formal education in Pattern Cutting or Fashion.
Relocation support to Castleford and visa sponsorship included.
