Burberry Operations Associate

- Manage end-to-end back-of-house operations, ensuring the stockroom is organised, compliant with Retail Operations standards, and operationally efficient.
- Receive and process incoming shipments from distribution hubs or warehouses—verify quantities, inspect product condition, reconcile discrepancies and report variances.
- Execute inventory control processes including stock pulls, replenishment for the sales floor, omnichannel fulfilment and timely retrievals to support client appointments.
- Perform quality control on merchandise at receipt and during storage; escalate product issues to store leadership and follow corrective procedures.
- Support aftersales services (alterations, repairs, personalisation) to enhance client experience and maintain service standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot stockroom equipment, initiating service requests via internal Ask services as required.
- Undertake ad hoc administrative tasks—answer telephone enquiries, liaise with customer service, manage stationery and supermarket orders, and support event or visual merchandising requirements.
- Participate in stock takes and ad hoc projects as directed by store management to ensure inventory accuracy and operational readiness.
- Demonstrable organisational acuity with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to function effectively within a busy team environment.
- Intermediate proficiency in core Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous retail operations or stockroom experience; prior exposure to luxury retail or outlet environments preferred.
- Experience with SAP is desirable.
- Capability to handle physical aspects of the role (e.g., moving boxes, prolonged standing) and adapt to variable workload demands.
