1. Own and communicate the Network Security technology strategy and vision.
2. Define and maintain 3-5 year roadmaps for Network Security aligned with organizational goals.
3. Develop and maintain secure network architecture frameworks in line with business and security requirements.
4. Design and oversee the implementation of security controls across LAN, WAN, cloud, and hybrid environments.
5. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance network security.
6. Define and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures.
7. Collaborate with IT, Security, and business stakeholders to align security architecture with enterprise goals.
8. Lead risk assessments and threat modeling exercises for network infrastructure.
9. Oversee deployment of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other network security tools.
10. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST.
11. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineers.
12. Participate in incident response and forensic investigations as needed.

1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in network security, with at least 3 years in an architecture role.
2. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols.
3. Expertise in security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, proxies, IDS/IPS, NAC, and SIEM.
4. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and securing cloud networks.
5. Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and SASE frameworks.
6. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CCIE Security, AWS/Azure Security.

1. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
2. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
3. Experience with automation and scripting.
4. Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline security.

A minimum of 5 years in network security, with at least 3 years in an architectural capacity.
