1. Serve as the primary HR contact for Retail Operations across all stores in Japan.
2. Collaborate with Retail Head and Store Managers to align HR strategies with business objectives.
3. Lead workforce planning, attrition analysis, and headcount budgeting.
4. Drive employee engagement, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
5. Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting and reviews.
6. Manage employee relations, including disciplinary actions and grievances.
7. Ensure compliance with Japanese labor laws and Burberry's global policies.
8. Lead recruitment efforts for all store positions, including sourcing and selection.
9. Enhance candidate experience and employer branding for store roles.

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5–7 years of HR generalist or HRBP experience in luxury, fashion, or retail.
3. Proven expertise in strategic HR business partnering and recruitment.
4. Strong knowledge of Japanese labor law.

1. Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency.
2. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
3. Data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
4. High energy and hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment.

A minimum of 5–7 years in HR generalist or HRBP roles, ideally within luxury, fashion, premium retail, or hospitality sectors.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
