- Strategically develop and execute merchandising strategies across all women's categories, ensuring alignment with global brand strategy and local market needs.
- Travel to Paris and London four times a year for seasonal buy campaigns, acting as the Americas' expert for all women's categories.
- Assort product lines in alignment with HQ guidelines to meet regional needs and financial targets.
- Lead the team in identifying and addressing opportunities and challenges within collections.
- Develop a comprehensive budget encompassing product strategy, market approach, deliveries, space allocation, training, and in-season activities.
- Collaborate with Planning to develop store-specific plans and evaluate performance against these plans.
- Prepare weekly and ad hoc reports, analyses, and action plans leveraging financial data and qualitative feedback.
- Analyze sales and stock to maximize efficiency and drive sell-through, securing in-season replenishment through accurate forecasting.
- Partner with Demand Planning and Logistics to complete financial forecasts and ensure efficient product movement.
- Deliver seasonal product training in collaboration with Retail Excellence and Go-To-Market teams.
- Conduct market visits to understand regional client nuances, trends, and competitor offerings.
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising for collection launches, store openings, and window planning.
- Establish productive relationships with key stakeholders across HQ and regional teams.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 6-8 years at Manager level with retail buying experience in a luxury multi-store environment
- Experience in Women's Ready-to-Wear required, with Shoes and Accessories experience preferred
- Strong understanding of the luxury market
- Experience in buying and managing all women's product categories
- Demonstrated leadership and team development skills
- Excellent analytical ability and high proficiency in retail math
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Board, Power BI, Anaplan, SAP, and Business Objects
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
A minimum of 6-8 years at a managerial level with a focus on retail buying in a luxury multi-store environment is required. Experience in Women's Ready-to-Wear is essential, with additional experience in Shoes and Accessories being highly preferred.
Bachelor's Degree
Expected base salary ranges from $180,000 to $220,000 annually. Compensation package may include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, and incentive packages.
