Burberry Commercial Procurement Manager

- Engage and manage stakeholders and suppliers to ensure optimal procurement outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategic procurement strategies across various sub-categories including Professional Services, Tax, Insurance, HR, Consultancy, and Contingent Labour.
- Collaborate with Legal and Information Security teams to establish quality contracts with credible suppliers.
- Provide regular reporting on cost savings, project progress, and supplier performance.
- Manage the UK Managed Service Provider (MSP) including conducting quarterly business reviews and KPI reporting.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a subject matter expert on contingent labour management, AEO, IR35 legislation, and AWR.
- Ensure compliance and governance of contractor background screening to safeguard Burberry’s AEO accreditation, including ongoing audits and performance management of MSP and third-party agencies.
- Oversee governance and compliance management of the contingent workforce in line with IR35 legislation post-April 2021.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement programs within procurement processes.
- Extensive operational and commercial experience in contingent labour or travel category management.
- Proven ability to form and manage effective stakeholder and supplier relationships.
- Advanced Excel, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to challenge respectfully while maintaining professional relationships.
Extensive operational and commercial experience in the contingent labour or travel category is required.
