Burberry Assistant Company Secretary

- Provide governance support for joint ventures and subsidiaries, coordinating services with local lawyers and internal corporate functions.
- Act as Secretary to management committees within the business.
- Ensure compliance of principal UK subsidiaries with company law and corporate governance requirements.
- Assist with subsidiary restructuring projects.
- Manage Market Abuse Regulations processes and restricted dealing lists, liaising with registrars and share plan administrators.
- Oversee the Burberry Group plc dividend process for ordinary shares, ADRs, and employee nominees.
- Draft and release Stock Exchange Announcements, particularly concerning PDMR share dealings.
- Make FCA notifications related to PDMR share transactions.
- Assist in drafting sections of the Burberry Group plc Annual Report and shareholder documents.
- Support the delivery of departmental projects, including the Annual General Meeting and Share Buy Back programme.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act and UK Listing Rules alongside the Company Secretary.
- Experience in a similar role within a UK listed company.
- Fully CGI qualified.
- Strong technical knowledge of the Companies Act and UK Listing Rules.
- Experience in subsidiary governance.
- Working knowledge of Diligent Entities.
- Highly organized with a commercial attitude.
- Attention to detail and strong drafting skills.
- Problem-solving capabilities with a solution-oriented approach.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
Experience in a similar role within a UK listed company is required.
Fully CGI qualified.
