- Define sales forecasts for existing products by collecting, checking, and analyzing necessary information to enhance forecasting accuracy and service levels.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing departments on new product forecasting and integrate it into the global forecast.
- Act as a forecasting interface with local and central departments.
- Manage phase-in and phase-out implications on forecasts and address cannibalization of novelties on existing products.
- Participate in the forecast validation process to align forecasts with budget and related revisions, including three-year plans and budget definitions.
- Define and monitor KPIs related to demand planning and actual sales, focusing on forecast accuracy.
- Develop the forecasting process by proposing new models and acting as a key user with IT for application implementation and development.
- Ensure a single integrated forecast process across markets while managing product peculiarities.
- Define inventory level targets for each item to meet service level targets.
- Calculate monthly supply needs to achieve inventory and service level targets.
- Report and monitor service level and supply planning/production KPIs.
- Monitor stock valuation and obsolescence creation, collaborating with Finance, Sales, and Marketing departments to meet financial targets.
- Work transversally with Demand, Supply, and Distribution teams to maintain inventory levels by managing short-term priorities and hedging against medium/long-term risks.
- Animate the local Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to evaluate supply and inventory impacts.
- Ensure smooth new product introductions by supplying sufficient products on time.
- Lead the phase-out process with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Central Planning departments to support assortment revisions and avoid overstock and obsolescence.
- University degree in Supply Chain or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in a Supply Chain role (2-3 years) or equivalent experience.
- Strong quantitative data analysis skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, and MS Office.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to create ad-hoc tools.
- Knowledge of planning techniques and models.
- Familiarity with SAP and/or BW.
- Fluency in English, with either Chinese language proficiency or strong knowledge of APAC markets.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong team player with the ability to work productively with diverse groups.
Minimum of 3 years in a Supply Chain role or equivalent experience.
University degree in Supply Chain or equivalent.
