Bvlgari Process and Quality Engineer

- Identify and detail process improvements within a semi-automated storage and retrieval distribution center.
- Measure system performance using data analytics to identify areas for enhancement.
- Support the operational team in optimizing business processes, including productivity throughput, resource optimization, product allocation, reversal flows, and value-added activities.
- Engage with third-party automation suppliers to enhance current hardware solutions, optimizing conveyor networks and product flow, and increasing the capacity of automated storage systems.
- Develop and document business improvement requirements with operational stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the WMS manager to ensure business requirements are effectively translated into technical documentation.
- Serve as a key system super user, developing detailed operational knowledge.
- Lead UAT testing of software solutions prior to live deployment.
- Define and document business and operational workflows for new processes and reassess existing ones.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and update quality KPIs as necessary.
- Align with business units on product packaging and process improvements to enhance storage optimization.
- Participate in management meetings to report on business initiatives and timelines.
- Develop operational dashboards using Power BI and WMS to manage performance.
- Present data effectively, simplifying complex analyses for stakeholders.
- Support and adhere to site safety and security policies and procedures.
- Experience in an automated distribution center or automated production environment.
- Experience working with external suppliers, particularly in automation storage and retrieval systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data analytics for operational improvements.
- Proficiency in Power BI and MS Office Suite.
- Project management experience, including leading projects and managing stakeholders and communications.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methods and tools, including Lean principles.
