- Execute the polishing phase according to technical documentation, working cycles, and procedures.
- Conduct all technical activities related to polishing, including surface adaptation, earrings closing adaptation, manual marking, sanding, trimming, grinding, and cleaning.
- Utilize technical and manual tools effectively, ensuring no gemology issues and respecting material properties such as gold, silver, platinum, and stainless steel.
- Perform self-quality control in line with internal quality control procedures.
- Operate supporting machines like welding lasers, engraving lasers, thermic ovens, automatic marking machines, and sandblasting ultrasonic washing machines.
- Achieve assigned productivity targets in terms of quantity, lead times, and quality.
- Manage scrap from the polishing phase and support precious material recovery according to procedures.
- Propose technical product and process improvements to Manufacturing, Quality, and other departments.
- Apply Lean principles to maintain and enhance workplace order (5S-Lean).
- Adhere to Security and Safety rules, including the use of personal protective equipment, and report non-conformities immediately.
- Assist with safety activities such as fire prevention and first aid.
- Support inventory activities.
- In-depth knowledge of product technical specifications.
- Familiarity with handling tools and techniques.
- Understanding of materials' chemical properties relevant to the specific phase.
- Capability for technical polyfunctionality.
- Awareness of guidelines, procedures, and regulations by international institutions and agreements (e.g., RJC, CoC).
- Proficiency in IT applications (Office).
- Experience with WMS systems and SAP.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.
