- Design, build, and maintain Anaplan models to support budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning processes.
- Develop Anaplan modules, dashboards, and workflows aligned with best practices and user experience principles.
- Implement business logic and calculations based on input from business stakeholders and internal IT colleagues.
- Support the planning transformation by translating functional requirements into Anaplan configurations and features.
- Collaborate with IT colleagues familiar with finance and supply chain processes to co-design appropriate Anaplan solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of planning processes through model enhancements and configuration updates.
- Integrate Anaplan with systems like SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise tools in collaboration with data teams and IT.
- Monitor and validate data flows to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with data governance standards.
- Act as a connector between the business (e.g., Finance, Operations) and IT teams to ensure solutions are aligned with both operational needs and system constraints.
- Work closely with internal data specialists to support the delivery of dashboards and reporting layers based on Anaplan outputs.
- Deliver training sessions and provide documentation for business users to ensure correct use of Anaplan functionalities.
- Support and coach internal users on best practices in model navigation and maintenance.
- Stay current with Anaplan updates, emerging functionalities, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve model scalability, performance, and usability through configuration changes or process enhancements.
- Prototype and test new features to optimize planning capabilities in alignment with business evolution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Anaplan Level 3 Model Builder Certification (Master Anaplanner preferred).
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining Anaplan models.
- Strong understanding of planning processes across finance, supply chain, or manufacturing environments.
- Solid grasp of model optimization, calculation design, and user interface principles within Anaplan.
- Familiarity with data integration techniques and ETL processes.
- Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Anaplan model building and maintenance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in building and maintaining Anaplan models, with exposure to finance, supply chain, or manufacturing environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
